LG working on D1L, a Galaxy S III competitor with 4.7-inch display and Android 4.0

Samsung?s Galaxy S III isn?t even out yet, but competitors know that it?s going to be hot, so they?re doing everything they can to come out with something that?s going to try and cool down Samsung?s hot streak.

According to DDaily (Korean), LG is working on a phone that it hopes will challenge the Galaxy S III. The phone, currently known by its project name D1L, will be powered by 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm SnapDragon S4 chip and will have a huge 4.-7-inch display with 1280 x 720 resolution. The device will be the first LG device to ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and will include LTE connectivity.

The phone is expected to be available in May.

I don?t know about you guys, but I?m always happy about competition. So, it looks like your choices of Android phones with large screens and Android 4.0 is about to increase!
