The Holliston Fire Department is partnering with Sprint and UniFirst to serve as a local collection point for the ?Giving Back to Our Troops!? program.?
Now through Thursday, Nov. 8, residents can bring the following items to the fire station at 59 Central St. These items will be sent to U.S. troops serving overseas during the Holiday Season:
Athletic tube socks, hand warmers, new pens and writing paper, playing cards, power bars, Zip Lock bags filled with tooth brushes and tooth paste, powered drink mix, Ramen noodles, beef jerky, movie-size candy, licorice, hard candy - mix bags, granola bars, small bags of dried fruit, bags of peanuts, Girl Scout cookies and hot chocolate.
The ?Giving Back to Our Troops!? collection bin is located in the lobby of the fire station.?Letters or cards of inspiration for the troops are also welcome.?
